My page is slowly becoming a Hannah Schoeman fan page and I’m ok with that

I either post everything in one day, or don’t post for months. There is no in between.

The moments before the “I do”

One thing I constantly struggle with is comparing myself to other creatives. That’s the reason why, after shooting photography part-time for the last couple of years, I’ve only shared a handful of posts.

Moving forward, my goal is to measure my growth by comparing my current work to my past and recognizing how far I’ve come.

Today, I’m looking back at the first wedding I shot for a close friend a couple of years ago. It’s incredible to see how much I’ve grown as a photographer, but also to notice aspects my photography style starting to take shape.

So, here’s to sharing more of my journey—slowly but surely, I’ll be posting photos from the past few years, and hopefully, more new work in the future.
